Answered by: Scott Salathe is a licensed clinical psychologist of 18 years and is currently in private practice and clinical faculty at Spalding University School of Professional Psychology. Through his work in schools, hospitals, and community mental health, he developed a passion for helping clients learn how to utilize psych meds along with their therapy process. He taught clinical psychopharmacology at Spalding for 5 years and still enjoys assisting students, colleagues, and clients understand more about their medications, side effects, and reasonable expectations. However, he is NOT a licensed prescriber – he knows a lot about them and is here to answer one of our questions about psychological medications.
