Michael RoBards, LCSW, works with children and adolescents, along with families, individuals and couples. He specializes in helping his clients with address issues including: divorce, grief/loss, ADHD, anxiety, depression, substance use, and adjustment disorders. Mike loves his life as a father, and hopes to enrich the lives of his clients and those around him. Michael has served in various clinical and administrative positions with Bellewood Children's Home, The Brook Hospital and Our Lady of Peace.
Areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and adolescents, recovery from traumatic events, grief, addictions, stress management, marital discourse, expecting and new parent counseling, postpartum counseling, and much more. Participating in counseling services is not only beneficial to you, but also to your loved ones around you.
Our practice actively collaborates with several psychiatrists and primary care practices to address and manage medication needs. Physicians include: Dr. William Owen, board certified child and adult psychiatrist, John Sullivan, MD, board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, John Light, MD, adolescent and adult psychiatrist, and Terry Hagan, MD, psychiatrist specializing in psychiatry and addiction medicine.
